What a great opportunity to learn about SDR’s! I’ve been meaning to try one out.
I always look forward to this giveaway. Good luck everyone!
Instead of requesting one for myself or explaining why I should be granted one, I would like to give mine to fellows who live in a remote location such as in Africa or a club whose affiliated fellows are poor thus, would benefit many more than just myself. That’s the real ham radio spirit.
Thanks.
Hoping to win!
I really enjoy your newsletter
Fingers x’d for a prize to make it over here to the UK and bring a bit of cheer in these difficult times 73

Thank you NOO Electric for your generosity. The SDR receiver would be a great addition to my little qrp ham station so that i might be able to monitor other frequencies during natural disasters and other critical events without tying up my only source of communications. We have lots of severe wx events here in Texas and the SDR receiver would be a valuable line of information.

Thank you.
This is an exciting giveaway, count me as entered!
Just received a NOOELEC SDR dongle (NESDR) and like the fact that you can run any software without having to use the frequency correction factor, because it is by design below 1 ppm. Some new or experimental software compilations don’t even come with the possibility of a systematic frequency correction. If you want to be spot on without even caring for that, use these dongles – great value for the money.
73’s Joerg
Good luck to everyone who enters!! What an awesome array of prizes!
greeting from hb0

Sweet deal! I’d like to try some other brands of SDRs and this looks like a good oppourtinty.
Would be nice for the Te Puke Amateur Radio Club Inc to have to play with.
Gotta love give aways!!!
Sixty-four years ago I earned my first novice ticket. In those days just to contact someone halfway around the world by voice or CW was magic. But like all great hobbies, Amateur Radio has continued to provide exciting new ways to learn and communicate–moon bounce, slow scan, packet, PSK31 and now, SDR. I’m presently grooming a fourth-generation ham, my granddaughter, to learn and enjoy this ever-evolving pastime.
I have only subscribed to Amateur Radio Weekly Newsletter for a short time and find it to be a very useful resource. It is nice to see the use of SDR in this competition. We are very limited here in New Zealand as to new equipment and supply is very haphazard. We have to import all equipment which means we are unable to try before we buy. We have to rely on reviews and internet to try to decide if any particular piecs of equipment will be suitable.
Count me in! Good luck to all.
All of UR7WBC good day!
I wish everyone in the world to get through the SDR of Amateur Radio Nevsletter only good news, pleasant and unforgettable waves in my life!

Thank you for an interesting publication. There is always something interesting to be found. The best part seems to be that it can also almost function as a forum, and a place to learn things at the same time. I do find the drop down “please Subscribe” box to be a bit of a pain. As it does not seem to recognize current subscribers, an jumps on top of everything one is trying to read or type as is what it is doing right now as I type this.
Thanks again

I enjoy amateur radio. It is a great hobby. I have enjoyed meeting new friends. I am working on my knowledge to gain my extra Class license. I have enjoyed HF since Dayton OH hamvention, which was my first. I am looking to get more equipment in the near future and this would be awesome to win. SDR you are great! Thanks for the opportunity to get some and for this wonderful giveaway. You guys are awesome. Way to keep ham radio alive.
In the past, I’ve enjoyed my little dongle on both a laptop computer and my cell phone. Kinda fun to pick up real FM broadcast signals on my devices – even though my cell phone could do it natively if the firmware would allow it!
Thank you to NooElec for the giveaways!
Tim
Good luck to all!

Tried SDR-RTL from Amazon. Very frustrating trying to run on a Mac. Finally had limited success after two days of fooling with it. There has to be a better version than I was using. Looking to learn more how this works.
